Hydro has upstream and downstream activities at Karmøy
The largest is the primary aluminium plant. We also have a casthouse, delivering extrusion ingot and wire rod, and extrusion and rolled products operations. The extrusion plant has one press, an anodizing line and a fabrication unit. The rolling mill supplies the building and transport industy, and coil for transformer windings. In addition, we have a research and development facility located at Karmøy.
