Meet us on campus this autumn

At Hydro, we are completely dedicated to exploring the unlimited potential of aluminium. The can represents many of the qualities aluminium has in general – it’s strong, light, recyclable and extremely useful. So we’ve used it to tell you a few things about Hydro and about aluminium.

Once again, NHH students in Bergen got to meet our representatives and hear more about aluminium and working at Hydro. They also learned about the upcoming Hydro Trainee Program, which begins in fall 2009. It could kick-start your career too - if you apply by the October 5, 2008 deadline.

“I am a trainee with Hydro Electrolysis, based in Neuss, Germany.  I started off conducting analysis to help reduce energy usage in aluminium production.  Next, I got some experience working in logistics and then at a casthouse in Neuss.  Right now, I am at our research centre in Øvre Årdal, Norway for four months, doing research on emissions".

We are proud to present something you see every day: Aluminium. Its extraordinary versatility means it can be used in everything from food packaging to solar panels, from electrical transmission to airplanes, from buildings to spacecraft.
